Many people are aware that Andrea Bocelli has an amazing voice. But very few realise that he’s passed that talent on to his son.
Andrea Bocelli has three children, Amos, Matteo and Virginia. Amos is an incredibly accomplished pianist. However Matteo followed almost directly in his father’s footsteps and became a singer. Virginia still has plenty time to choose music as a career because she was only born in 2012.
Although Amos frequently plays the piano while on tour with his father, Matteo hadn’t shared the limelight with his father until recently. Andrea and Matteo Bocelli have duetted together on a song for the first time ever.
The song is called ‘Fall On Me’ which is about being a father and a son. You have to admit the pair really display their bond in the performance!
A music video of the song was released where the video starts with Andrea and Matteo sitting in front of two pianos, facing away from each other.
Matteo begins singing, his voice sounds different from his father’s. Andrea beams a proud smile as his son sings the opening lines.
Andrea grasps his son’s shoulder. The two seem to have such a deep connection. Matteo’s skill as a singer matches his fathers.
Matteo is bringing out the best in his dad’s talent and really helps to make that song special with his own voice. You can’t help but be amazed at this father-son duo!
