The Queen’s Heartbreaking Confession Leaves Future in Doubt

Queen Elizabeth new portrait has really got tongues wagging, for all the wrong reasons.

What concerns people the most was how she reacted in response to the portrait itself.

It’s tradition for the monarchy to have their Royal portraits done.

They have been done for centuries to shape how we view royalty.

Yes of course you knew that…

Fans adore seeing new images of the royals.

However this new portrait of the Queen is causing a stir amongst people.

People feel it has missed the mark…

Queen Elizabeth is the longest-ruling monarch of the United Kingdom.

She has surpassed Queen Victoria’s previous record of sixty-three years on the throne in 2015, since she was first coronated on on February 6th, 1952.

All history for members of the royal family is well documented.

This King George VI, her father who appeared on a stamp from the year 2012.

Some of you may remember the story of George VI…

In 2010, he was portrayed by Colin Firth in The King’s Speech movie, which was based on him overcoming of his fear of public speaking.

In 1923, George VI married.

He got married to the Queen’s mother, Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon. The Earl and Countess of Strathmore, the Duchess and Duke of York, and King George V and Queen Mary.

George VI and his wife, Elizabeth had 2 children…

First arrived Elizabeth, who was born on April 21st, 1926, followed by Margaret, who was born 21st August 1930.

Queen Elizabeth has a lot of historic ancestors.

She had biological ties to the majority of European royalty. Her most famous relative include Queen Victoria I, who ruled from 1837 to 1901.

Queen Elizabeth lived through the second world war…

During WWII, Elizabeth and Margaret were evacuated to Windsor for their safety.

During this time Elizabeth made her first public appearance by way of radio broadcast. She famously said, “that in the end, all will be well; for God will care for us and give us victory and peace.”

Princess Elizabeth first became known to the public during this period.

She is accompanied by her parents, sister, and the then Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Winston Churchill.

She then began taking on more public duties…

Elizabeth’s was appointed her colonel-in-chief of the Grenadier Guards by her father where she made her first public appearances inspecting her troops.

Sadly her father passed away in February of 1952…

Elizabeth, automatically became the Queen of England.

In 1953, Queen Elizabeth had officially taken over the reign by 2nd June.

At the age of 27 she was crowned at Westminster Abbey, Elizabeth’s was the first coronation to be televised.

However she didn’t rule alone. 

On 20th November 1947, aged 21, Elizabeth married Philip Mountbatten.

Philip wasn’t perceived as an appropriate fit for the Queen…

Queen Elizabeth was known for being more reserved and thoughtful. Philip on the other hand had a reputation for being a bit bold and brash, with mixed reputation in high society.

However, the pair continue to stand the test of time.

Tension rose between the pair following their marriage when they were required to take the last name of Windsor. Numerous rumours of Philip’s infidelity circulated.

The couple began their family…

Charles, was born in 1948, and is pictured on the left, Anne followed soon after in 1950.

They have a total of 4 children together…

Queen Elizabeth has successfully made herself a much loved monarch.

People were excited to hear that a new portrait of the Queen was going to be released.

People were excited to see how t it had turned out.

The Queen herself hopped on Zoom for the official reveal yesterday.

Once her fans got a glimpse of the portrait… they were far from impressed.

The portrait has been mocked by social media trolls.

Reactions came pouring in.

Not everyone was overly keen on the picture…

Some didn’t quiet like specific aspects.

This comment seemed to be popular.

Some made remarks on the overall “lifeless” look of the painting.

Some tried to offer an explanation for this.

Apparently the artist focused on the background causing the facial features to get lost.

To sum it up….

The general consensus wasn’t great.

However the Queen’s particular response has many feeling a little scared.

Once she saw the painting, her reaction really had some feeling concerned.

The Queen has been self-isolating in Windsor Castle since March.

Over the summer she plans on travelling to Balmoral in Scotland.

Once she saw her painting, she expressed “hope” to see it in real life.

Many wonder whether she will ever return to Buckingham Palace.

“I’m glad to have had a chance to see it.”
