In 1991, John married Kelly Preston who was previously married she was simply not with the right person. They were married for almost thirty years, however Kelly passed in July 2020 of breast cancer.
The couple had three children together, Jett, born on April 13, 1992, daughter Ella Bleu, born in 2000, and son Benjamin born in 2010.
Unfortunately, in 2009 Jett died of seizures caused by autism. This was a tragedy for John and he said he did not know how to handle the whole situation. The actor had to recover to be with his other two children.
Just like her parents Ella is an actress, she was attracted to this industry as a child and always received the best advice from her parents.
Ella wrote some beautiful words for her mother when she passed away. She loved her mother very much and is was the best person she had ever known and is grateful for what everything she gave her.
