Child killer and rapist Gregory Davies who was convicted of murdering 6 year old Kylie Maybury has suffered a prison attack with boiling water being poured on to his groin.
The 74 year old did not appear in court due to still suffering extreme discomfort from the attack.
Little Kylie had strolled to the shops to buy sugar for her mother but was never to return in attack which shocked the world in the year of 1984.
It took over 30 years to identify her killer after dna traces of Semen were found on Kylie’s underwear that she wore the day she disappeared.
Davies admitted the attack in May and is due for sentencing this month. he is expected to end his days in jail.
Murderer and rapist Davies required skin grafts to 15% of his body and is in considerable pain as the skin begins to tighten around the injuries.
Nobody has been charged over the incident and police are not seeking anyone in relation to the attack.
His sentencing will bring to an end the decades long mystery after Kylie’s mother was shocked to discover her family knew their daughters attacker.
Davies faces many years locked up in pain and few will shed a tear for one of the most despised killers in recent years.
