Waiter is angry when customers tip him just $3.28: Doesn’t expect this letter the next day

Working as a waiter, you interact with people on a daily basis and can learn a lot about the customers you serve.

There will be days when you encounter customers with bad attitudes and customers who may leave no tips or very little. But every once in a while a customer comes along who will restore your faith in humanity with their actions.

When a waiter named Seminole recently uploaded a photo of a measly tip he received of $3.28, he shared his frustration with the online community.

“Nothing more frustrating than when I get little to nothing for a tip and the customer is smiling and thanking me profusely as they exit,” he wrote.

After serving a group of four teenagers, Seminole was left with a paltry tip of $3.28. This led the waiter to question how the teens had been brought up by their parents.

However, ten days later he received a letter that would completely change his mind.

“I’ve been serving a long time,” the waiter wrote. “Nothing like this has ever happened to me, or anyone.”

Scroll down and read the wonderful letter for yourself. You will understand why this letter has spread like wildfire on social media when you read it!

The waiter added on Imgur, “These kids came back another day and left this for me at the front desk, with $18 and some change.”

Seminole had a message for the teens themselves. “I don’t know how you learned or educated yourself on tipping, but I really appreciate the effort and kindness. I hope your Homecoming was fantastic!”

With the letter now being a viral sensation, people all over the world have been praising the teens and their parents.

What is your view on this story? Do you think the teens done the right?
