Mom Buys Pillows with Pretty ‘Blue Flowers’ on Them…They’re Actually X-Rated Decor

“Oh dear.” That’s just one possible reaction a person might have after coming across the decorative throw pillows that reddit user Waffle_T said their mother purchased.

My mother bought these throw pillows.. from funny

Once you see it, you can’t unsee it.

Similar to the woman who purchased the pillows, many commenters said they didn’t notice the pattern at first, either.

“I couldn’t figure it out for the longest time. Then, I realized [what] I’d been staring at…”

ganlet20 agreed:

“I couldn’t figure it out until I read your comment and looked again.”

And slackjack2014 assured them they were not alone:

“I know a few people that would be oblivious to the pattern unless someone pointed it out to them.”

As Scary Mommy reports, pillows similar to these are widely available for purchase online, including at sites like Amazon. These particular blue and white “genitalia” pillows are sold by Look Human.

They’re specifically listed as “penis pillows” in their description; however, it’s not hard to believe, based on the comments, that an unsuspecting shopper could overlook one important detail.

And this isn’t the first time a mom has accidentally found themselves at the center of attention over an adult-themed mistake.

Recently, an 18-year-old girl was given the shock of her life when she thought her mother gave her an X-rated present all because she had opened the gift upside down. Thankfully, the gift was just a cup holder.

She took to Twitter to share her initial horror with the world:

And dads are not excluded from these awkwardly confused moments.

More recently, a Wisconsin father had to come to the defense of his 12-year-old daughter, after she was suspended from school when administrators mistook items being sold for charity as sex toys.

The “water snake wigglies,” which are water-filled bags that can be soothing for children with autism, were being sold for $1 each.

Reddit user Waffle_T has not yet said what mom plans to do with the pillows now.
